To publish a manuscript, Physics and Engineering must obtain all the necessary rights. In the majority of cases the standard Physics and Engineering Transfer of Copyright Agreement completed by the corresponding author is sufficient. Only one copy of each type of agreement (Transfer of Copyright or Grant of Publication Rights) needs to be completed for a given manuscript. However, every rights group involved in an article must bestow or transfer rights to their work to Physics and Engineering. We ask that the corresponding author arrange that the appropriate paperwork is filled out. In order to publish, distribute, redistribute, and archive the article, it is necessary for Physics and Engineering to collect all of these rights either in the form of a transfer of copyright or a license to publish.
